Egoscue 30 Day Challenge – What The Friday! Season 5 Episode 2

This is part 2 of Season 5 of What The Friday! Paul from the Egoscue Clinic in Santa Monica takes pictures of my posture from all four angels and then goes over the assessment with me.

It is a very humbling experience. It is amazing how one thing can effect something else.

The good news is that Paul says my postural imbalance is not just treatable but curable… even my scoliosis!!

The bad news is that it takes Time and Action!!

hmmm… I think Egoscue fits right in with the WTF! mentality of .. DOING IT NOW!

What The Friday!
Dave :)

oh yeah, if you are interested in getting your own postural assessment from Paul and the gang (they can do virtual assessments too from anywhere in the world!) – check out their website and contact them here:

PS:  Several people have been asking me are there any resources online regarding how to fix your back pain through body structure.  Though for many  people it probably won’t match a personal 1 on 1 session at a walk in Egoscue clinic, it is definitely an alternative that seems to be aligned* with the philosophy.

* pun intended

I have always carried my pain and stress in my neck and shoulders. Things that help are getting on the floor and doing yoga, especially kundalini, heat and ice and my inversion table.

Dave, Thank you so much for sharing this information and putting yourself out there the way you are. These videos make me feel like I am getting to know you not only as a business person but as a friend as well.
As far as stress goes, I carry it in my jaw, I clinch my teeth and find myself grinding them quite often. I even find myself bitting down hard first thing in the morning. What a way to start the day, huh? Cracked and worn down molars are the result. My best solution so far as been a mouth guard for sleeping and being more conscience of my jaw tension during the day.
Thanks again. And I love me some kombucha tea.
